Tokyo Comic Convention Co., Ltd. (President: Takehiko Goto) has announced new celebrity guest information for “Osaka Comic Convention 2025” (hereinafter referred to as “Osaka Comic Con 2025”), which will be held for three days from Friday, May 2 to Sunday, May 4 (national holiday), 2025 at INTEX Osaka (Suminoe-ku, Osaka City).

With Sun Kang, Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Emily Rudd, Daniel Logan, Christina Ricci, Edward Furlong, Nicolas Cage, and Bill Skarsgård already announced, Osaka Comic Con is expected to be a major success again this year. Now, with less than a month until the event, Mackenyu has been revealed as the final celebrity guest!
Mackenyu will attend the event on Saturday, May 3 and Sunday, May 4 (national holiday) and is scheduled to participate in photo sessions and autograph sessions at the venue.

A double-shot photo session with ONE PIECE live-action Nami actress Emily Rudd has also been confirmed! In addition, both actors will appear on stage together at 10:30 AM on the final day, Sunday, May 4 (national holiday).
Details regarding ticket sales for photo and autograph sessions will be announced at a later date.

Mackenyu began his acting career in Japan in 2014 and has appeared in major hit films such as Rurouni Kenshin: The Final (2021) and the Fullmetal Alchemist series (2022). In the film adaptation of the popular manga Chihayafuru trilogy (2016–2018), he won the Newcomer of the Year Award at the 40th Japan Academy Awards.
In recent years, Mackenyu has leveraged his bilingual skills, including fluent English, to pursue a global acting career. In 2023, he starred in his first Hollywood lead role in Knights of the Zodiac, also voicing his own character in the Japanese dubbed version—a testament to his impressive talents.
His rise continued with his casting as Roronoa Zoro, a main character in the live-action adaptation of Eiichiro Oda’s worldwide hit manga ONE PIECE. His agile action and excellent swordsmanship have earned him acclaim.

At Osaka Comic Con, you can participate in autograph sessions by purchasing autograph tickets, and photo sessions by purchasing photo tickets.
Please note that a separate admission ticket to Osaka Comic Con 2025 is required in addition to the autograph or photo ticket.
